Knocked Loose Announce New Album Since 2019

Written by on March 6, 2024

Hardcore metalcore icons Knocked Loose have announced a new album, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, coming May 10 of this year. You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To will be their first full-length release since A Different Shade of Blue, released back in 2019. The band’s third LP release is expected to feature Motionless In White’s Chris Motionless, and YouTuber turned singer Poppy. Along with the album release, the band also announced the entire 10-song tracklist.

Their new single off the record, “Blinding Faith,” is available to stream now. Knocked Loose still sounds as heavy as ever, with a sound that screams that they’re returning in full swing. Lyrically, “Blinding Faith” calls to the band’s upbringing within a church and calls out religious hypocrisy.

“It was just hilarious how many people showed up to church that I knew were rude, horrible, selfish people,” guitarist Isaac Hale commented. “They knew that it made them seem like a better person — or if they said the words, it would redeem them of any negative quality just because they showed face.”

Knocked Loose will also be headlining a U.S. tour with openers Show Me The Body, Loathe, and Speed. They will perform at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, NY, on May 30 and at Terminal 5 in NYC the next day. The tour starts on April 29 in Detroit, MI, and ends on June 8 in Atlanta, GA.
