Starcrawler is a band of young rockers aging from late teens to early twenties, but their music is old school rock. Their self-titled album released in January and is a banger. It is a sound you didn’t know you needed in your life. The music is hard rock and upbeat where the lead vocalist, Arrow de Wilde, has a vampire/siren sort of sound. For anyone who has ever watched the Scooby-Doo episode with the Hex Girls, she would fit right in.

Their most popular song off the album is “I Love LA” which has over 800,000 views on their music video. The song is repetitive, but a get-up and dance sort of song. If you can get over hearing the words “I Love LA” over and over again, then it’s great. However, some of their other songs off the album are worth listening to more, such as “Tears” which is a slower deeper song. Or “Pu**y Tower” which is quite comedic and a total feminine power move. Overall, I cannot wait for Starcrawler to go on tour because their live performances are going to fill the audience with the rock and roll energy we haven’t seen in the music scene in a while.
