Sammy Rae & The Friends Perform at The Wellmont – Montclair, NJ 2/9/2024

Sammy Rae & The Friends brought the CAMP The Tour to the Wellmont Theater on February 9. The show opened with a performance of original songs from up-and-coming Philadelphia-based pop artist Julia Pratt. Pratt’s performance was followed by an electrifying set from Sammy Rae & The Friends. The band took Montclair, NJ, back to the nostalgic freedom and excitement that summer camps create. They performed hits from the Good Life EP but had other surprises in store for the Montclair community.

The band shared some secret tracks from their upcoming debut album, one being a single that Sammy Rae describes as a “sticking it to the man song” called “Thieves.” The single was released on March 8. Details on the upcoming album have yet to be released, but Sammy Rae left fans wanting more when they teased on their Instagram that they can expect further details “a few singles from now. Patience.”

Sammy Rae & The Friends announced their next tour dubbed The Album Tour which is slated to kick off in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on September 30.
