Kim Petras Announces Five-Date “De-Tour” for December
Written by Ash Schnoor on October 3, 2026
Detour spent months stuck behind label trouble before Kim Petras released it independently on May 29. Now she’s taking it on the road. The De-Tour is five U.S. shows in 17 days, opening in Chicago on December 1 and closing at the Hollywood Palladium on December 17.
The dates
- Dec. 1: Radius, Chicago
- Dec. 2: Echostage, Washington, D.C.
- Dec. 4: Knockdown Center, Queens, N.Y.
- Dec. 16: The Midway, San Francisco
- Dec. 17: Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles
Presale opened Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. local, according to Petras’s announcement on X, where she introduced the run with a simple “Let’s take a De-Tour” and a nod to her fans. The tour also carries a Rare N’ Deluxe VIP upgrade and a vinyl room add-on with a 5:30 p.m. entry.
Detour also just got bigger. Rare N’ Deluxe came out Sept. 18 with five more songs, “Autobahn” among them, and she dropped a video for that one too. There’s a lot of new Kim to hear live.
The route is worth a look against her last headline run. On the Feed the Beast World Tour in fall 2023, she played D.C. at The Anthem, Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom and San Francisco at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Those three cities are back on the De-Tour, in Echostage, Radius and The Midway. Same markets, different rooms.
Five cities also leaves out the entire South and most of the Midwest.
For anyone in the Northeast, Knockdown Center is the only stop, and D.C. is the closest backup. Dec. 4 falls on a Friday, which helps.
