WMSC Scholarship Fund Article

The voice of Montclair and your alternative rock and talk college radio station is largely operated by your peers. Your peers who were determined to keep the station operating during stay-at-home orders. We have over 20 student directors, 45 disk jockeys, and 30 new DJs being trained right now. They now get the chance to be rewarded via scholarships with our WMSC Excellence in Radio Scholarship and Training Fund! But first, we need to reach our scholarship goal of $1,500!

How Can You Help?

Please reach out to your family members, professors, and even colleagues to give a small contribution to our fund- anything counts!

Keep talking about it! The word of mouth still works wonders!

Your help and contribution means greatly to us, so thanks for helping us honor the college radio students who have dedicated so much of their time to improving your university radio station!

Where else will the WMSC Scholarship and Training Fund be applied?

Industry training held by the National Association of Broadcasters, The Broadcast Education Association, and College Broadcasters Inc.

Allowing us to attend vital conferences AND training for one student, such as the College Broadcasters Inc. Conference and Award and Music Master training in 2021!

Sending an unlimited group of students to the Intercollegiate Broadcasting Systems Conference and Awards in NYC – when it’s safe, of course!

We’ve got 13 days (as of 10/18), let’s work together to make sure we reach our goal of $1,500!
