“We are so excited to share stories about our Sustainability projects and their impact on communities and corporations through a new medium on ‘The Re-Fresh’, said Amy Tuininga, Director of Montclair State’s PSE&G Institute for Sustainability. “This, to us, is Sustainability accessed through another dimension; will transport listeners to locations few people generally have opportunities to go as they hear about cutting edge innovations and technologies used to address climate change and earth’s challenges.”
The initiative will aim to educate listeners on the topics of environmental issues, climate action, and how even small changes can make a big difference towards a more sustainable future.
“The work Amy and her team are doing is vital to maintain a healthy environment and reduce our community’s carbon footprint, and it makes sense for the campus station to amplify their work,” said Anabella Poland, General Manager of WMSC.
The show will air on Thursdays at 3 pm EDT starting April 22nd, 2021, Earth Day. Tune in on 90.3FM, around the world on wmscradio.com, or via the iHeartRadio app and platforms.
