To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the popular American cartoon Spongebob Squarepants, Wendy’s partnered with Paramount to launch a Spongebob-inspired meal with “Krabby Patty” fries, and a pineapple frosty. Fans from all ages couldn’t wait to finally live out their childhood dream and try Mr.Krabs’s secret formula for the first time. For a limited time in the U.S., Canada, and Guam, interested patrons can purchase the meal at participating Wendy’s locations.

This meal brings a sense of nostalgia for Gen-Z who grew up watching Spongebob Squarepants and wanted to try the Krabby Patty meal. Remembering all those times Plankton tried to steal the formula and Mr.Krabs stopped him with the help of Spongebob. The times it was almost revealed and cut to commercial break. The times the customers went crazy when they didn’t have their Krabby Patty has finally hit the market and now interested people can enjoy that.

Tiktokers and Mukbangers alike are trying this meal and giving their opinions on it.  Not mentioning the TikToker influencers who play the theme song or music at the Wendy’s drive thru window. Mukbangers like Steph Pappas gave an honest review on the meal stating the meal was really good and she did enjoy the secret sauce put on the Krabby Patty tasting like a spicy mayo.

But for some the meal was disappointing. Some people claimed that it was too expensive for just three items and expected a little more. Tiktoker Jess (@jess_foods) was disappointed with her experience getting the meal. “Honestly I’m kind of disappointed in the presentation. Like, bro. It’s a Krabby Patty. Where are the seeds at?”, she said in her video.

I think the collaboration with Wendy’s is one of the best collaborations that could have happened. A great way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of one the most beloved cartoons adored by millions. Some may like the meal and some may not. In the end, I think it wouldn’t hurt for anyone to try the meal and give their honest opinion.
