The Dangerous Summer brought their Coming Back to Earth Tour to Asbury Park’s House of Independents on July 20, 2024 with support from Bad Luck., rosecoloredworld, and Vanity Score.

This tour was in support of their 8th full-length record Gravity, which was released back in June. The setlist included a good chunk of these new songs, but the majority was made up of older fan favorites. My favorite of the night had to be their final song, “The Permanent Rain.” You could tell that no one in the room wanted this night to end, but if it had to, they were going to give this last one their all. Everyone in the crowd was singing, dancing, and cheering along for their favorite band before the night came to a close.

The connection that the band had with their fans was beautiful to watch. From chatting with fans as they set up on stage to staying to meet everyone at the merch table at the end of the night,
the true love and passion that The Dangerous Summer have for what they do was unreal. I talked to a few people around me throughout the night who had nothing but love to share for the group. Whether it was their 1st time seeing The Dangerous Summer or their 50th, everyone was just so happy to be there surrounded by other fans listening to music they love.

Overall, The Dangerous Summer delivered an incredible performance that left the crowd with a memory that’ll last a lifetime. The entire night was filled with good music and amazing vibes, and I’m glad I was able to be a part of that.
