Surfaces Concert Review

The stars aligned and I was by chance going to be in New York at the same time as my favorite band, Surfaces, in their first concert out of their home state. Unfortunately, the show was long sold out. After many attempts to find tickets, including long Ticketmaster phone calls and going to the venue to speak with workers, I eventually gave up. But miraculously, the day before the show the good people at WMSC 90.3 answered my praise and selected me to win two tickets to the concert.
The show took place at the Mercury Lounge and was opened up by Public Library Commute and was one of the best nights of my life. The venue was intimate, the fans passionate, and the band even better live.
10/10!
