So Many Stores Closing!?

During the year of 2020, many different restaurant chains are closing down some of their locations. 2018 and 2019 also had some big numbers when it came to locations shutting down, but 2020 may be worse than past years. Here is a list of some locations that will be closing down in the year 2020. Pizza Hut – 500 locations, Burger King – 250 locations, Chico’s – 250 locations, Gap – 230 locations, Forever 21 – 178 locations, Starbucks – 150 locations, Ruby Tuesday’s – 135 locations, Applebees – 120 locations, Office Depot – 90 locations, Bed Bath and Beyond – 60 locations, Boston Market – 45 locations, IHOP – 40 branches, Friendly’s – 37 locations, Tim Hortons – 36 locations, Perkins – 29 locations, and Red Robin – 10 locations. There are many other locations that will be closing down as well. With online shopping becoming more and more popular and the grand opening of the American Dream Mall, this greatly affects other store owners.
