Montclair State University Celebrates Homecoming 2024

(Montclair, NJ) The Montclair State University community celebrated its annual Homecoming on Saturday, September 28. 

The Red Hawk community did not let the gloomy forecast stop them from having a jam-packed day. Starting with WMSC’s Live Music Showcase Spectacular, there were many exciting student performances including the Players Variety Show and the Homecoming Talent Showcase. The morning also featured a live episode of “Cooking with Koppell” with guest star Josh Dela Cruz. Dela Cruz is a Montclair alumnus most famous for his role on the series “Blue’s Clues & You!”.

Inside Cole Hall, tables sat lined up with fun activities and sweet surprises. People had the opportunity to win fun treats while learning about student organizations, campus resources and academic departments. 

The Office of Alumni Engagement hosted their yearly Street Fair on Chapin Drive, serving tasty treats for all to enjoy. Despite the rain, the community pushed through for a spectacular Homecoming celebration.
