Lizbeth Godoy

Lizbeth Godoy is a Senior Film and Television major at Montclair State University. After being recruited by some members, she joined WMSC in Spring 2023 as a newscaster on The Morning Buzz and discovered a hidden love for being behind the mic. Being involved at the station sparked a journey of self discovery that quickly brought about a new sense of confidence and belonging. She was promoted to Assistant Producer of The Morning Buzz that same semester and plans to cultivate her newfound passion by having her own show in the upcoming school year. Lizbeth is an avid true crime buff and is interested in Investigative Journalism and advocacy work related to crime, which she plans to pursue after college. When not at the station office, you can find Lizbeth listening to a podcast, making music and art, or playing video games!
