Emmett Smithouser is a Senior WMSC production trainee majoring in Communication and Media Studies and minoring in psychology in only his second year at Montclair State university. He graduated from community college in 2024 with an associates degree in social sciences. Emmett spent 3 years in high school theater, participating in five on-stage performances and an additional show as stage crew, winning a Basie Award for his talents in May 2024. In this time, he discovered his love for using his voice in unique ways and he ultimately wants to become a voice actor. He was given the opportunity to become a WMSC production trainee in Fall 2025 and he could not be more thrilled. He is extremely grateful for WMSC’s opportunity to mentor him in the production team and he looks forward to working with everyone. He hopes his skills will benefit all the incredible people he meets during his time at WMSC.
