MONTCLAIR, NJ-
The Women’s Lacrosse Team (3-8) opened up NJAC play in a 19-0 loss to the defending NJAC Champion and No. 4 ranked TCNJ Lions to Sprague Field. The experienced Lions scored early and often, scoring 6 goals in the first quarter. The Red Hawks were denied opportunities by the stingy Lions’ defense. The speed of TCNJ was evident as Montclair struggled to keep up. A lot of movement and well-timed passes created an offense that was impeccable to watch. Montclair was outshot 42-4 and had 18 turnovers compared to TCNJ’s 11. The series is 25-1 in favor of TCNJ.
The Red Hawks will be back in action against Ramapo College, a team historically the program dominates, on Tuesday, April 18th. Red Hawks lead the series 15-0.
