The above is a short, observation film shot over two days – January 19th and January 20th, 2025, during the second inauguration of Donald J. Trump. Created by Chris Cirone, a film and television student at Montclair State University, this non-traditional approach offers an unfiltered look at what the city of Washington D.C. looked and sounded like, overrun with Trump supporters during the inauguration. Throughout the film, the camera acts as its own character, uncertain while searching for subjects and finding its way around the massive crowds.
