FC Bayern Munich Takes Home The Win Against FC Copenhagen!

On Tuesday October 3, 2023 FC Copenhagen played against Bayern Munich at Parken Stadium in the 2023-2024 UEFA Champions League. FC Copenhagen started with a 4-3-3 and FC Bayern Munich started with 4-2-3-1. The FC Copenhagen team was wearing White and Blue Kits and FC Bayern wore Black and Purple Kits. The starting forward for FC Copenhagen was Viktor Claesson and Harry Kane for FC Bayern Munich. The start of the match, FC Copenhagen had the lead in the 55’ minute when Lukas Lerager scored in the bottom left corner. This shot was taken after it had rebounded off/been assisted by Mohamed Elyounossi (#10) and Lerager scored this from the penalty area right into the goal. The goalie for FC Bayern, Ulreich (#26) was defeated as his opponent had scored on their team and he was unable to save the shot from entering the goal. However, twelve minutes later in the 67’ minute FC Bayern Munich tied the score 1 to 1. Jamal Musiala received an assist from Noussair Mazraoui. Musiala right footed the shot from the center of the box and perfectly aimed into the bottom right corner. Musiala also took this shot at the center end of the penalty area and the shot itself was fast-paced and finished strong. Goalkeeper Kamil Grabara (#1) was prepared and steady on his feet however was quite defeated when the ball went past him and into the goal. Both of these shots were corner shots which were in one way or another involved with a foul or multiple attempts to score. As the match continued, substitutions occurred specifically Mathys Tel replacing Leroy Sane in the 77’ minute.
Within six minutes in the 83’ minute FC Bayern Munich scored another goal. Thomas Muller assisted Mathys Tel, Tel took a left footed shot from the center box into the high center of the goal. Tel had shot this within the penalty box close to the goalkeeper, the goalkeeper had attempted to reach and slide in order to stop the goal however it went in. The goalkeeper did not seem that upset but still an individual was able to tell that Grabara did not want it going in. The match continued and there were once again a few fouls and missed attempts by players. The match extended with 90 plus 6 minutes, Harry Kane gained a freekick in the 94’ minute, however his freekick did not go in. At the end of the match the score was what it was and could not be changed, meaning FC Bayern Munich took the win and FC Copenhagen took their loss. The match ended with Bayern (2) and (1 ) Copenhagen. This match win put Bayern Munich at the top of the group by six points, ahead of Galatasaray and Manchester United at the bottom of the UEFA Champions League.
