Los Angeles pop-punk band Point North brought their Fall tour to Asbury Park’s House of Independents with support from Rivals, Nevertel, and Elijah.

Each opener of the night got the crowd even more excited to see Point North as the sets went on. Rivals delivered an incredible performance that kicked off the night and had everyone
dancing and nodding along. Nevertel came on stage shortly after and brought the heat with a few mosh pits here and there. Lastly, Elijah brought his insane vocal talent and energy to the stage that has left me hooked on his music since (especially “virus”).

I’ve never seen House of Independents so alive! The band was jumping around and ready to give the crowd a memorable night the second they hopped on stage. Some of highlights of the night were when they played “Psycho” and “Below the Belt.” They also played their brand new song, “WORLD {vs} PEACE,” live before it was released on September 26th which was super cool.

Their lead singer, Jon Lundin, was really interactive with the crowd which I loved. He was constantly pointing the mic at the crowd to sing along, singing with fans in the front few rows,
and making sure everyone was having a good time. Considering this was only their second headlining tour ever, Point North truly knows how to put on a fantastic show like they’ve been doing this for ages.
