My name is Austin Mink and i’m the host of “Genre Of The Week!” Each week I will be playing a different genre of music based on a selection from our randomizer “Genre Wheel”, and I’ll select a few artists, well known and lesser known, from the genre that ends up getting selected! I will mostly talk about the artists we end up choosing and some history about them and my opinions, or the genre that ends up getting selected and how they’ve changed the music landscape. Listeners tuning in should expect either a familiar genre that they enjoy with artists they may know already, or could be exposed to a whole side of music they’ve never listened to before! I will also invite some special guests on from week to week to share their two cents on the genre that has been selected. It’s a totally different discussion each week, on “Genre Of The Week!”
