Modest Mouse Concert Review

I got to see Modest Mouse at Wellmont Theater on Wednesday, October 10th. Having seen them last year, I was excited to get to review them for a second consecutive year. I didn’t catch the opening band, but I’m almost certain they had an awful name.
Anyway, it seemed as if the vocalist of Modest Mouse, Isaac Brock must’ve been ill or sick; because his voice wasn’t in ship-shape fit. I heard a few fans say that he had the flu, which I can’t confirm – but he did seem off. Besides his voice being iffy, they did play a set of a songs spanning practically their entire discography. Fans were begging for “Float On”, but they did not play it and floated on out of the Wellmont. Some of my favorites were played though; “Tiny Cities Made of Ashes”, “The World at Large”, and “Dramamine”.
