Presidential Inauguration

January 18, 2017, Montclair- 90.3 WMSC (WMSC), “The Voice of Montclair State”, will present live coverage of the Presidential Inauguration on January 20, 2017.
WMSC’s special report will begin at 11:30AM with a preview of the big event followed by the live broadcast of the Inauguration starting at noon. Hosts Juan Contla, a senior at Montclair State and station manager, along with SCM faculty member Jaime Bedrin will be on hosting duties. Student reporters will be reporting live from Washington DC inaugural ceremony and a viewing party on campus.
Then, from 1 to 2pm we will have a round table of faculty and experts joining us live to analyze the traditions of the transfer of power, beginning with the Swearing In Ceremony and will discuss the impact of a Trump Presidency and his policies to be enacted in the first 100 days at the White House.
Guest will include Merrill Brown, Director of the School of Communication and Media (SCM) at Montclair State, SCM faculty members Marc Rosenweig, Joel Penney and Marylou Naumoff, David Brancaccio, host of American Public Media’s Marketplace Morning Report, and Brigid Harrison of the Political Science Department at the University.
