WMSC is the non-commercial, alternative rock radio station and voice of Montclair State University. Entirely student-managed, WMSC has been around since 1966. We broadcast within a 5-mile range, online on our website, and on the iHeartRadio apps & associated platforms. It is the mission of WMSC to provide an educational and pre-professional experience in a co-curricular activity for the student body of Montclair State University, fostering student learning, professional advancement, and civic engagement.

The most common way students join WMSC is by becoming board-certified. Passing the ADJ program opens up a world of opportunities for you- like starting your own live radio show!
