Intern Fair For Communication and Media Students – 11/27/12

On Tuesday, November 27th we will be hosting an intern fair in the Multi Purpose News Room, Room 311 of Schmitt at 7 pm.
Our media partners will be on site to network and begin recruiting interns for the 2013 semester.
All students in the School of Communication and media are invited to attend the event
Elaine Russo is organizing and is following up with students….
***But we would please ask your help in encouraging student participation.  Please feel free to bring this up in conversation and in classrooms.

Suzie Brown and Brad Cole on Radio Nowhere! 11/25/12

Joltin Joe welcomes two outstanding performers to Radio Nowhere on Sunday November 25th. At 7:30pm, Suzie Brown a singer-songwriter out of Philadelphia will perform songs from her debut CD, “Heartstrings”. Suzie is a practicing Cardiologist who received her MD at Harvard, a Masters of Science in Translational Research from the University of Pennsylvania and now is smack in the middle of a performing career!
At 8:45pm, Brad Cole, who has just moved to New York from Chicago, will perform songs from his third solo album, “Down The Line”. The album captures a stripped-down Americana sound with plenty of Nashville influence.
 
It’s one big post-Thanksgiving get-together in Nowheresville from 7-10pm eastern on WMSC 90.3FM   Radio Nowhere with Joltin Joe, the Mad Scientist.

Latest News to WMSC is that A$AP Twelvvy and Friends, live at Highline Ballroom 11/22 has been RESCHEDULED to 12/27. Same venue, same time and if you recently won our ticket giveaway, your tickets will be recognized for the makeup show. Since we have more tickets to give away, please tune in every Sunday from 4-7pm on Basement Radio and 10pm-1am on Tuesday nights on Channel Zero with DJ D to win a pair of tickets to this crazy show! We’ll be giving away more tickets this coming week, but just remember, we do have A$AP Twelvvy and Friends tickets, so call in!!
